The lightning field by Walter de Maria

Here we have a photo by the artist Walter de Maria taken in New Mexico., the focal point is a flash of lightning which is in the background. There are 400 masts in the foreground. The sky is dark blue and the grass is green. What I like best are the light effects made by the flashes of lightning.

Amandine
Spiral jetty by Robert Smithson

Here we have a photograph by the artist Robert Smithson taken in 1970. He was an English artist.
I can see a spiral in the middle in the sand. It’s the focal point. In the foreground, there is sand and in the background, we can see a long mountain range. At the top, the sky is a very beautiful blue and the top left hand corner, there is a big mountain. Behind the spiral, the sea is blue. The spiral looks like the shell of a snail.
In my view, it symbolises time. The photo is magnificent and restful.
